Meet Sylvia, Founder & Administrator
For Sylvia, senior care is deeply personal. Raised in a multigenerational home alongside her grandmother, honoring elders was simply a way of life. That upbringing, combined with seeing firsthand the emotional strain and physical stress families experience when caring for aging loved ones, helped shape her mission. Sylvia founded Bella Oaks Assisted Living at Hendrix to close that gap—giving families peace of mind and creating a home where seniors can truly thrive.
Backed by a Master’s in Health Administration and a degree from UC Santa Barbara, Sylvia seamlessly pairs top-tier operational safety with deep personal empathy. As Bella Oaks opens its doors, Sylvia is excited to welcome residents into a safe, warm, and supportive community built from the ground up.
